This early elementary/late beginner duet is perfect for the new piano student. The primo part can stand alone as a solo work. Simply play the primo part one octave higher than written, and the secondo part one octave lower than written when using as a duet. Additionally, the primo and secondo parts work just as well if swapped between players, meaning that both partners can take a turn at the solo line without needing to swap places on the piano bench! There are no dotted or syncopated rhythms, making coordination between the players easy to achieve.
