With the approaching 250th anniversary celebration of the United States, we begin a new chapter in the story of America. Why not mark the occasion with a new take on a classic patriotic hymn? This new, original setting of America the Beautiful reflects a wide range of emotions including drama, passion, and tenderness. Although the melody and harmonies are new, there are deliberate echoes of the well-known hymn by Samuel A. Ward. This may be performed by a cappella choir or with one of the available instrumental accompaniments for band, orchestra, or flex ensemble.
Note that the score is formatted to print on 11x17 paper, while the parts are formatted for 8.5x11.
Directors have permission to make the required number of copies for each instrumental part.
Playable cues are provided to cover less common instruments.
