It has been performed in New Zealand, Australia, UK and USA to high acclaim. The five verses of Amazing Grace allow different sections of the choir to lead in this solemn and dignified musical setting of John Newton's text. The choral writing is moderate in difficulty level but the choir must be able to hold their pitch. This arrangement in counterpoint with 'The Last Post' will appeal across all denominations and beliefs. It would be helpful to place the trumpeter either behind the congregation/audience or above in a gallery. This arrangement can be used in a sacred, secular or memorial context. Amazing Grace, The Last Post
This is a luscious arrangement, which beautifully combines two well-known and emotive tunes. It is not difficult to sing and very appropriate for church, community and school choirs.
