This contemporary-style composition in five movements is a transformative adaptation of my earlier work, Serenata for Strings.
At the grade 6 level, it is probably my most challenging work in the concert band medium, best suited for professional, college/university, and elite high school or community ensembles.
The five movements, with their locations on the audio track, are:
1. Prologue 0:00
2. Scherzo 2:50
3. Nocturne 4:05
4. Rondo Tarantella 6:48
5. Epilogue 8:52.
