Besides the tunes popularity around the world, this little arrangement has a lot of useful skills for the intermediate pianist to learn--6/8 time (for some reason this always confuses our students) , a bouncy and rather simple accompaniment pattern and, in the middle a short point of imitation to expose the student to two-part counterpoint. One verse of text is included above the treble clef in case the pianist would like to sing along:).
