Alec Surprises
I know Alec Wilder as a composer for woodwind instruments, but I am a tenor as well. Curiosity led me to this collection and it is worth the trip. Most fit the definition of art songs and because of the unique Wilder composition style present worthwhile challenges to the voice student. And there are a few absolutely wonderful, thoughtful songs that you will enjoy singing and will please your listeners.
