Adagio and Allegro, Op. 70 for Tenor Trombone and Piano by Robert Schumann Piano Accompaniment - Sheet Music

By Robert Schumann
Tenor Trombone and Piano - advanced

SKU: CY.CC2715

Composed by Robert Schumann. Arranged by Jaime Morales-Matos. German Romantic 19th Century. Solo part and Piano accompaniment. Cherry Classics #CC2715. Published by Cherry Classics (CY.CC2715).

Originally written for Cello and Piano, Opus 70 was edited by Schumann for the Horn in 1849. The original title of the work was Romance and Allegro and is one of the first major works of importance for the valve horn.

In arranging this work for Tenor Trombone, Mr. Morales-Matos has transposed the key down a third into F major from A-flat making the highest note a D.

This exquisite piece of music is about 9 minutes in length and suitable for advanced performers.
