A Million Dreams
We just performed this today. The kids seem to enjoy it and their peers in the audience really enjoyed it as well. It is an easy to polish piece for middle school. There is one shift for 1st violins and about 4 tricky, but technique building measures for the cello. I felt like it really hooked a few of the kids that were on the fence and hadn't really learned to play very well yet. They discovered they could make beautiful music and play something they knew and their friends recognized.
