This anthem is based on the story in the book of Luke, chapter 2, verses 41-50. Jesus parents, Mary and Joseph had traveled a day from Jerusalem before realizing that Jesus was not with them. After 3 days of searching, they found Jesus in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers and asking them questions. It reminded me of the occasion when parents suddenly are missing their children in a public setting. The question is, "Can you go a day without Jesus?" This anthem helps to think about the answer.
