The music and text of this anthem are perfectly suited for Transfiguration Sunday, which comes on March 2 this year. Michael Burkhardt's music is both beautiful and accessible, making it a valuable addition to my choir library for a liturgical feast day that often comes very early in the new year. . . and the new rehearsal season.
