This beautiful song deserves an equally lovely accompaniament-it's quite a challenge. I'm hoping that by changing the time signature to 6/8 it makes it easier to keep it flowing. The harmonies are simple and the solo bass needs to stand out a little. It is suitable for High School and Community Choirs, and for any group that enjoys Celtic Thunder. I have written a pan pipe melody (violin, recorder, or flute etc.) but the song can be performed without this if preferred.
