For Level 4&5 players, Percussion Ensemble - Septet. This piece combines a Drum Line feel with Percussion Ensemble scoring, featuring the Mallet instruments. The form follows a simple melody structure, but the Mallet techniques are challenging. An excellent piece for College level ensembles, it could be adapted by a Drum Line or Pep Band group as a feature. The Meter presents a challenge for a Color Guard looking for unique settings. With a Color Guard/Flag group, the March would make an interesting feature for field performance - but you have to move the timpani. Definitely a feature for dedicated Xylophone and Vibraphone players. NOTE: The first twelve pages are the score, these are presented in LANDSCAPE format. The group will need to print the first twelve pages in LANDSCAPE format. The remaining pages for the parts are in Portrait format.
