Could be improved
These arrangements for clarinet & piano are a welcome addition to Piazzolla wonderful tangos. I am a professional pianist, and I recently performed 3 numbers with a clarinetist friend. He said that the clarinet part was well written and well suited for his instrument. I have played many Piazzolla Tangos before (solo and in chamber music setting) and I found some of the piano writing a bit awkward. Sometimes, the harmonies were distorted and difficult to play. Just like jazz, where one has to 'interpret' what's on the score. Being very familiari with Tango music, it was easy for me to figure out some better accompaniments. If a pianist is less familiar with Piazzolla's style, these arrangements may be disappointing.
