Whitacre Conducts Whitacre: Light and Gold

On August 2 Eric Whitacre will be conducting  a selection of his pieces at London’s Union Chapel in anticipation of the launch of his new album, ‘Light & Gold’. The concert will be sung by his own group, the Eric Whitacre Singers, who will join forces with Laudibus – the National Youth Chamber Choir of Great Britain.
The audience will be treated to 14 of the composer’s works for chorus, including Lux Aurumque, Nox Aurumque, Water Night, Cloudburst, and Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine.
