V Festival, the annual event that sees acts play north and south of the Watford Gap over one weekend, kicks off tomorrow (August 20th) with a huge line-up.
Eminem is the headline act at Weston Park in Staffordshire on Saturday night, before heading down to Hylands Park in Chelmsford on Sunday.
He is not the only multi-platinum-selling artist to grace the stage at this year’s festivals. Barbadian Rihanna will also perform at the weekend as she takes her Loud album to UK fans.
And being billed before Eminem could hint at the possibility of a duet between the two. Love the Way You Lie, which features on Eminem’s album 2010 Recovery and reached number two in the UK, features the Rude Boy singer and so a rendition of the song could be in order.
Other acts set to perform at Weston Park on the first day of the festival include Manic Street Preachers, The Script and Ellie Goulding.
Meanwhile, the 4Music stage will see the likes of Pendulum, Primal Scream and Good Charlotte, while the Arena stage will see DJs Calvin Harris and Mark Ronson perform, as well as The Saturdays and Eliza Doolittle.
While all that fun is going on, Essex-based ticket-holders will be treated to a headline act from Arctic Monkeys, who will no doubt perform hits from their back catalogue and new tracks from 2011 album Suck It and See.
Plan B, Kaiser Chiefs and Lost Prophets are also set to perform on the Virgin Media stage, while Dizzee Rascal will take the reigns on the 4Music stage, preceeded by Tinie Tempah, Jessie J and Olly Murs among others.
Katy B, Professor Green and Chipmunk are just some of the acts set to appear on the Arena stage over the weekend.
This will be the 15th year of V Festival, which was the brainchild of Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker, who suggested the idea of playing two outdoor venues in two days.
Artists performing at past V Festivals include Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Alanis Morissette, Coldplay and Muse.
