7. Tech drum cover style

Travis Barker brought drum covers into the mainstream with his version of Solja Boy. Since then, almost every major hit has been given the drum rearrangement treatment. In the video above Matt Harwood-Jones makes the most of the song’s simple and repetitive structure with a nice and varied display of shuffling beats, paradiddles and fills that render Psy’s original as nothing more than a backing track for the action taking place on the kit.
