The Beach Boys to reunite for big Grammy performance

The Beach Boys are to make their comeback in style this weekend (February 12th), two decades after their last appearance together.
Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks will perform live at the Grammy Awards in front of millions of people from all over the world.
It has not been revealed what they will play, but the iconic Californian band will be joined on stage by two Grammy nominees, Foster The People and Maroon 5.
While the band have not played live in years, last year saw the release of a remastered album featuring previously unheard tracks.
The Smile Sessions includes a verson of the album Smile, which was record in 1966 and 1967 but only released in 2004, and session highlights and outtakes.
Smile was, until its release, regarded as one of the most famous unreleased albums of all time.
Grammy.com also announced further additions to the show line-up, including an exciting collaboration between Foo Fighters and Dadmau5, singing a remixed version of Rope, while David Guetta will perform with Chris Brown and Lil Wayne.
Also making a kind of comeback at the show will be Adele, who has not performed live since undergoing vocal cord surgery last year. She is also up for a string of awards.
Her album 21 is up for Album Of The Year and Rolling in the Deep is a contender for Record of the Year. She also has a nomination for Best Solo Pop Performance.
Kelly Clarkson, Tony Bennett, Coldplay and Rihanna and Sir Paul McCartney are also set to perform along with many others and an even bigger list of presenters from the world of music.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl recently told the Associated Press that he is glad to be competing with Adele in six categories including Best Album.
“It means we’ve done something right. I think she gives us all hope,” he said.
