Portsmouth Music Services, local partners of Musicroom Portsmouth, have announced that they have been successful in their bid for Arts Council funding to become a specialist Music Hub.
The creation of The Portsmouth Music Hub is excellent news for the service and the people of Portsmouth, who are set to reap the benefits of a new focal point for creativity and music education in their community.
With the Hub now in place, local organisations and groups can be better supported in providing musical education and networking to encourage wider cooperation and coordination.
The Portsmouth Music Hub is both online, on their own site and across the social networks, and on the ground, offering direct involvement for the whole community.
