Steven Sproat Free Ukulele Workshops at Musicroom Portsmouth as part of POMPULELE

Between 11am and 4pm at our store in Commercial Road, informal drop in sessions. 

 Just turn up with your ukulele or buy one from our diverse range in-store! 

Suitable for everyone!  

Performance at The Edge of The Wedge, Albert Road with support from 'The Pompey Pluckers', 

tickets are available from Musicroom at £3.00. Profits go to St Rowans Hopice. 

 

STEVEN’S musical history began in the early 1970s when his father bought him a ukulele at age 10.

A love of George Formby and  a determination to play as well as him eventually had its impact and Steven was playing and

singing in his native North East (Lanchester, Durham) in pubs and clubs.

Now a top touring musician, Steve has has performed recently on radio 2,

International Ukulele festivals, has written two published tutor books,

tutored Mr Harry Hill, and now will be making his appearance in Portsmouth for Pompulele!
