Chester Music have launched a new series of music-based activity books for the Early Years classroom at Musikmesse 2012.
Start With A Story has been specially designed by acclaimed children’s author Ann Bryant. Each of the four books are centred around a theme, with a story set as a powerful starting point for songs, poems and drama activities to emerge from.
Ideal for both specialist and non-specialist Early Years teachers, Start With A Story books are a rich teaching resource packed with ideas and activities to inspire and inform lesson plans for the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
The book are accompanied by specially composed songs, CDs full of music and audio sound effects and a range of suggested activities for each story chapter. All teachers need to get started with the books is some space and a selection of simple percussion instruments.
Start With A Story features four titles, each with an imaginative tale at their heart that children will love, wonderfully illustrated by Liz Barrand.
