Meet the distinguished British organist, composer and author Dr Francis Jackson CBE at a special book signing event at Musicroom York this summer.
Dr Jackson was the organist at York Minister between 1946 and 1982, and has given recitals all over the world and recorded extensively. His compositions and works, written exclusively for the church, include anthems, organ solos, organ sonatas, monodramas, a concerto and a symphony.
Having recently collated his vast array of experiences and stories into an autobiography, Dr Francis will be signing copies of the book during this special event at Musicroom York.
This completely free event will take place at 10am on Saturday July 27 and is open to all-comers.
