Musicroom Exeter’s Learn to Play Day event on 31 March is all set to be a great free day out for of live music, free taster lessons and fun for all!
The day will begin in earnest with an early morning performance from Exeter University’s Gilbert & Sullivan Society, who will be acting out scenes amongst customers still browsing the store. There will also be a lunchtime performance by the Exeter School of Samba band, Samba Macrianas.
Throughout the day, the store will also be offering a number of free taster lessons on a variety of instruments with the following tutors:
10:30 – 11:30am: Sally Bull (violin)
10:30 – 11:30am: Graham Pearson (woodwind)
01:00 – 02:00pm: Sue King (vocals)
01:00 – 02:30pm: Alan Webster (guitar)
01:30 – 04:30pm: Kate Shetliffe (piano)
02:30 – 03:30pm: Kirsty Hugill (cello)
02:30 – 04:00pm: Carina Vince (violin)
03:00 – 04:30pm: Stuart Oliver (guitar)
