Learn To Play Day 2013 is coming to Rae Macintosh Musicroom Edinburgh!
Read below for details of how you can enjoy a FREE musical instrument taster lesson.
On Saturday March 16, Musicroom Edinburgh host Learn To Play Day 2013 – a special nationwide event offering the Great British public the chance to pick up and try an instrument for FREE!
The day will involve lessons on the ukulele and keyboard at the Rae Macintosh store, in a bid to teach children and adults the benefits of playing a musical instrument. Meanwhile lessons in the violin and guitar are available at the Edinburgh Society of Musicians.
Please note: lessons may be swapped between venues on the day due to the popularity of different instruments so be sure to head to the shop on 6 Queensferry Street first to confirm where your free taster session will be taking place.

Anyone who takes a FREE taster lessons will also receive a 10% discount. Refreshments will be served in store.
There will also be a special prize draw on the day that’s free to enter for all attendees of Learn To Play Day Edinburgh.
Different instruments will be showcased throughout the day by local music teachers. The ukulele will be taught by Russell Watkins, singing by Gillian Turnbull from 12pm to 1.30pm, the violin by Louise MacKenzie and the guitar by Duncan Mountain.
