After a hugely successful event earlier this year, National Learn To Play Day will return on March 16 2013, offering more people than ever the chance to try a new musical instrument.
This year 10,000 free lessons were given to the general public across 100 music shops nationwide.
Most impressively, almost half of those who took part in Learn To Play Day 2012 went on to continue taking lessons with their new found instrument after the day had passed.
To announce the launch of Learn To Play Day 2013, Music For All, the charity that aims to make more musicians by making music accessible and affordable for everyone, have released a video trailer which you can watch below.

Learn To Play Day brings together the UK’s musical instrument retailers along side the Musicians’ Union, Arts Council England, Take It Away, MusicTeachers.co.uk and MusicRadar to offer the public the chance to try a musical instrument regardless of their background or situation.
