The Buzztones are a new London-based music group featuring Sam Harrop of SheetMusicDirect.com.
Formed to showcase the power of the human voice within a live performance, The Buzztones describe their sound as “modern, full of harmony, but with an added twist – there are no instruments! 11 men, 11 voices – that’s all we need.”
As an a capella group, every part of their arrangements and performances are produced from the diverse vocal talents of the group. The backgrounds of each group range from pop, rock and soul through to classical, jazz and even musicals, enabling The Buzztones to perform and play around with a wide array of styles. Their knowledge and appreciation of the various genres however allows them to sound authentic and lively whatever the tune.
With such a diverse repertoire, the group likes to keep their audience on their toes and constantly guessing at what’s coming next. With mash-ups featuring the likes of David Guetta, Chris Brown, Lady Gaga and JLS alongside more traditional songs, The Buzztones seek to entertain and surprise their listeners.
Readers in the London area take note: The Buzztones are performing their first showcase show alongside special guests Mark Armstrong and Paul Thomas at The Bedford in Ballam on Wednesday. More details can be found on the concert’s Facebook event.
