Enroll now for Musicroom Portsmouth’s summer Rock School 2012

Aged between 14 and 18 and passionate about playing music? Then enroll in the Musicroom Rock School this summer!
Taking place from August 28 to the 30 at The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth, Rock School attendees will have the opportunity to work with professional musicians and lyricists to hone their talents and ideas.
You don’t have to be able to play an instrument or sing to take part, just a passion and love for music. The Rock School will have an emphasis on song writing, music marketing and self-management, with participants given the opportunity to create their own band or music company. They will also be able to present their ideas and plans to a panel of music industry professionals for feedback and advice.
The climax of the Musicroom summer Rock School will be an “end of term” evening concert, giving each rock schooler the chance to play on one of Portsmouth’s most prestigious stages and showcase their talents with support from sessions musicians.
The Musicroom Rockschool is organised by the Kings Theatre Rock School and Musicroom Portsmouth.
