A bit of a challenge, but well worth it.
I had read the detailed description, and was concerned about the section requiring a competent pianist comfortable playing in 6 flats. This is the first piece I've ever attempted in that key, so I didn't meet those requirements. I have only done 4 flats max before, but it sounds so beautiful I just had to try anyway. I admit I've struggled with it since I'm in my 60's now and can't pick things up as easily, but in less than a month I have become comfortable with that key. It's not perfect yet, but it's the most beautiful piece I've ever managed before. My piano teacher from 45 years ago would be so proud that I'm still pushing myself with pieces like this.
