Published by ScottPerro Music (A0.1879444).My arrangement of the Beatles classic Yellow Submarine was written for the mandolin to play the vocal line and guitar or piano provide chordal harmony. The vocal line is notated so that a flute may also play a round if present. I began this arrangement with the chorus then followed by verse/chorus which can be repeated as often as wanted. I wrote the lyrics for the chorus and first verse only because this arrangement is to be played primarily as an instrumental. In the demo I recorded you will hear at times the back and forth picking technique known as tremelo that every mandolin player uses to extend the sound when there is a slow quarter, half or longer note value notated. Grab you a guitar or piano player and make some music !
