Worthy Is the Lamb by Pepper Choplin 4-Part - Sheet Music

By Pepper Choplin

A dramatic and majestic choice for Easter, this anthem is also great for occasions when you need a powerful anthem in praise of the Lamb of God. Starting quietly, it builds through thickening vocal textures and the addition of a descant line to a final section of antiphonal amens. The optional orchestration adds to the grand feel any time of year. (From the cantata "Come, Touch the Robe": SATB — 55/1123L; SAB — 55/1124L)

Powerful

This song is powerful and wonderfully arranged. Pepper Choplin is my new favorite arranger. There are so many exciting sections that challenge the choir and give the song impact. My favorite two sections were the Amen ending (made to sound like the congregation is getting closer and closer to The Throne); and the section splitting the choir into 3 parts with everyone singing their own melody. Please don't overlook this song for your church.
