By far the most popular and important song from Rush's early catalog, 'Working Man' is a prime example of what made Rush blow people's minds in the early/mid 70s. The power and influence from this song alone can be felt echoing throughout every album of their career: each time you hear Alex bash out a power chord riff, take you on a wild ride with a solo, or hear Geddy and Alex synced up playing a powerful or complex riff, THIS is where it came from. The song itself is a marvelous journey into what a couple of supremely talented kids with a guitar and a bass can do.
