“Wochenend und Sonnenschein” is the German cover version of the American song ‘Happy Days are here again’ by Milton Ager from 1929. The song was translated into German by the Comedian Harmonists in 1930 and quickly turned into one of the ensemble's most successful titles. Markus Karch's arrangement for mixed choir SSAA(T)B and piano takes into account the fact that many choirs have too few male voices (especially tenors): the tenor part is optional and can easily be omitted. A cheerful, catchy song that makes you feel good!
