This 4 minute piece for cello and piano, originally written to accompany a friend's acroyoga dance video at www.acroyogadance.com, could fit nicely as a romantic concert encore or a stand alone work for a church service, especially weddings.
Aimed at intermediate level players and written in an appropriate key, the piece gradually builds in intensity before returning to a sense of calm.
It is suitable for schools and students, and should allow performers to demonstrate their tone throughout, and technical ability at the climax.
Keith Acheson is an Irish composer based in Belfast, N. Ireland. He has written for a wide range of ensembles from orchestral and choral, to chamber and solo instrumental works.
