On a keyboard it sounds effective with an electric grand piano layered with a harspichord, but it would work equally with a piano sound. The left hand part is mainly broken chords using a texture often known as "Alberti bass", and produces a "rippling effect" - I also imagine a guitar or harp sound. Try to also exploit the dynamic contrasts as these will create some light and shade to your performance.
