“Winter Song” is a haunting duet co-written and recorded by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson, released in December 2008 as part of The Hotel Café Presents Winter Songs. While it’s often interpreted as a Christmas ballad, its lyrics make no direct mention of the holiday—instead painting a poetic image of longing and emotional winter—and notably reached No. 2 on the Irish Singles Chart in 2011.
This arrangement by Jay Dougherty is set for SATB voices in the non-contestable barbershop style (melody in the 2nd voice).
