This beautiful romantic-style solo is written in D major and 4/4 meter. It is the perfect vehicle for developing a lyrical style of playing. Careful balance must be achieved between the right-hand melody and the left-hand accompaniment of broken chords using fifths and octaves. Delicate 16th-note passages and 16th-note triplets are found in the melody as well, adding to its wistfulness. By following all of the musical markings carefully, a satisfying musical performance is sure to be achieved. 4 pages.

Beautiful
This is a beautiful piece. It explores many different things, while maintaining the beauty. The piece will take some practice. There is a a lot of emotion that must be put into this song. This is a beautiful piece and a must buy!

Beautiful and Full of Style
There was a lot of opportunity for my 11 year old to perform this piece with the emotion it deserved. Although it wasn't the most difficult piece performed at the recital, it was several spectators Favorite!
