Wind Power is a powerful overture for concert band, commissioned on behalf of a company that specialises in renewable solar and wind energy. So, from wind power to wind music, the piece contains five sections, entitled: Static, Energetic, Sparkling, Powerful and Unplugged

Wind Power is een krachtige ouverture voor blaasorkest. Het kwam tot stand in opdracht van een bedrijf dat zich heeft gespecialiseerd in zonne- en windenergie. De stap van wind naar 'Wind Music' is dan niet zo groot..! En zozagen vijf delen met de veelbelovende titels Static, Energetic, Sparkling, Powerful en Unplugged het licht! Een werk waarmee u uw publiek misschien wel letterlijk omver blaast...

Wind Power ist eine kraftvolle Ouvertüre für Blasorchester, die im Auftrag einer Firma, die sich auf erneuerbare Energien aus Sonne und Wind spezialisiert hat, entstanden ist. Von Wind zu "wind music" (Blasmusik) war es nicht weit und so war die Idee für dieses Werk aus den vielversprechenden Satzen Static, Energetic, Sparkling, Powerful und Unplugged geboren.

Cette ouverture energique pour orchestre a vent est une commande pour la societe allemande JUWI, specialisee dans les energies solaire et eolienne. L'introduction, Static (Statique), fait appel a des effets de decharges electriques orchestrales qui menent au theme principal, Energetic (Energique), lui-meme suivi de Sparkling (Etincelant), Powerful (Puissant) et un mouvement lent intitule Unplugged (Debranche).

Wind Power e un brano trasbordante di energia, tutto nel segno dell'azienda che ha commissionato il brano, specializzata in energia solare ed eolica. Cinque titoli promettenti per un brano molto "ecologico": Static, Energetic, Sparkling, Powerful e Unplugged.
