It comprises 13 songs and lasts approximately 55 minutes with narration. Soloists required: Stephen, Lydia (his wife), Anna (his daughter), Rhoda (his mother), Paul, Philip (non-singing, but has a part in the drama), plus Narrator and SATB choir.
The choral parts are written in SATB harmony, and the choir sing in 12 of the 13 songs. The musical is ideally suited to performance in church or mixed group situations, although it could be performed by senior school children. The musical can be performed as a fully staged production with drama or a concert version with narration.
