Loved it! Used it as a prelude on the day my congregation was to learn the new hymn “Spirit, Open My Heart”. The choir had practiced it previously, and the people sang it beautifully!

I was looking for celtic-style music when I came across this. The melody is the traditional Scottish tune of Go Lassie Go. I found the arrangement to be fun to play and beautiful to listen to. I am an early advanced player, and this was challenging enough to be a fun work through and had it learned within a few days. There is a lot of room for added expression. I actually did a search for Paula Foley Tillen and later purchased another piece arranged by her, The Lone, Wild Bird, which is also a beautiful piece. I would recommend this to anyone looking for music with a Celtic/Scottish theme.

I didn't care for the harmonizations used for this piece. They weren't really what I would expect for Scottish folk music.
