Wild Loch Mountain Lomond Thyme, originally written as a brass ten-piece for Castle Brass, is the result of the discovery that two traditional Scottish folk tunes fit pretty well over the top of each other. Both Loch Lomond and Wild Mountain Thyme are beautiful tunes in their own right, and I've tried to preserve that while bringing something new to the table. This piece would be an excellent addition to any woodwind quintet's concert programme.
The PDF includes a full score and all five parts: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet in Bb, Horn in F, and Bassoon.
