The arrangement incorporates some ideas from the Frank Mantooth big band version, the Meters recording, and of course the original Glenn Campbell version. There are a lot of cool harmonies, and the trombone has a solo which can be improvised-- though a written solo is provided. Difficulty is medium advanced. Not too rangy for the trumpets, but the trombone part is a little tough. This will be a great change-up in your summer concert repertoire!
