Great choice!
We are using this piece as a combined selection for a choir of Senior citizens who are combining in concert with a choir from a local school district made up of 5th and 6th graders. It is the perfect ender to our concert! As we sing, we hope to have a video made up of video vignettes from our rehearsal as a part of this wonderful experience!

Why We Sing
I heard this sung by the Lancaster Ohio Men's Chorus and had to have it. I have sung it SATB and two part. While I enjoy the richness of SATB it works just as well in two parts. When we introduced it to our church choir (nicknamed the crying choir) we gave them all tissues and said - just listen. Not a dry eye in the house. Definitely a favorite that will last a long time!

This is one of those songs that will appeal to all age groups. It is very singable and my primary school children are really enjoying it.
