SKU: LO.10-4180L

Composed by Don Besig. Choral. Sacred Anthem, Holy Week, Palm/Palm-Passion Sunday. Octavo. Lorenz Publishing Company #10/4180L. Published by Lorenz Publishing Company (LO.10-4180L).

ISBN 9781429126380.

The drama of Jesus' betrayal in the Garden of Gethsemane is conveyed with reverent simplicity in this compelling anthem by acclaimed writers Don Besig and Nancy Price. Evocative harmonic colors and an optional C-instrument obbligato illustrate a powerful text that asks the question: "Why must He suffer there and die all alone?".

Beautiful Holy Week Song
Beautiful song. Can be used for Maunday Thursday or Good Friday (As it talks about praying in the garden and also the cross). I actually sang this as a solo (just modified it a bit), but it has wonderful 4-part harmony. This is another Price/Besig song that I love.

Questions we all should think about during this season. Very thought provoking. Very expressive and easily done by a small volunteer choir.
