This charming song is about the grass whispering your secrets (an idea which comes from Greek mythology) and was first recorded by the Inkspots in 1940. It became very popular after the comedy version by Don Estelle and Windsor Davies reached number on in the UK charts in 1975. They performed the piece as their characters from the BBC sitcom "It Ain't Half Hot, Mum", set in the jungles of Burma (Myanmar). This version is based on the original non-comedy version and features some sumptuous jazz harmonies and a charming piano accompaniment. It is in three parts with two short optional extra parts. Some of the intervals are tricky, so although I have catagorised the song as "intermediate" in difficulty, it is at the more difficult end of the scale.
