"Where is the Love" is a timeless tropical, R&B ballad famously recorded by Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway, released in 1972. It was written by Ralph McDonald and William Salter. McDonald who is a star on mallet percussion instruments gave it thsi tropical flavor. This song makes one feel that they are on a beautiful, breezy tropical island enjoying some delicious fruit and a "fruity" drink with an umbrella on it. This song was a big hit in which it won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Group or Duo with Vocals. It is still played on radio stations of R&B, jazz, easy listening, rock, and so on. Mr. Robinson also has "Closer I Get to You" and "Killing Me Softly" via Hal Leonard, which would make a great tribute to the late, Roberta Flack. This piece includes optional percussion; separate instruments, or a trap set and auxiliary percussion.
