This beautiful song from 2004 Christmas film The Polar Express would make an ideal item for a Christmas concert. It is arranged for A(S)ATB saxophone quartet, with the Alto 1 part playable on soprano if required (part supplied). All four saxophones get an opportunity to play the theme, including the baritone. The piece starts very quietly with the tenor but soon builds into a lovely song with lush harmonies.. This piece would pair well with my arrangement of The Polar Express.
