This vibrant and energetic symphonic arrangement of What Could Be Better Than This? from Disney’s Vaiana 2 was commissioned by the Bruckner Orchester Linz. Designed as a highly authentic concert adaptation, the arrangement remains extremely close to the original film version, capturing its rhythmic drive, playful spirit, and contemporary Disney sound.

The song is featured in the 2024 Disney animated film Vaiana 2 (internationally known as Moana 2) and is performed by Auliʻi Cravalho together with the film’s ensemble cast. It serves as a lively group number in which Vaiana inspires her crew during their ocean journey, celebrating unity, adventure, and the joy of moving forward together.

The soundtrack of Vaiana 2 was created by a new generation of Disney composers, including Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, alongside returning composer Mark Mancina, blending modern pop influences with the distinctive musical language of the Pacific world.

Scored for solo voices (choir) and full symphony orchestra, the arrangement's instrumentation includes three flutes, oboe, English horn, two B-flat clarinets, bass clarinet, and two bassoons, complemented by four horns in F, three trumpets in B-flat, two trombones, bass trombone, and tuba. The rhythmic energy is driven by timpani and a wide range of percussion, while harp, synthesizer, electric guitar, and electric bass add a contemporary cinematic color.
