Great Resource
This book is a great resource for the Sunday morning church pianist. Very melodic, thoughtful arrangements that do not require much prep time. For the advanced pianist, this collection is a sight-reader’s delight. 😍

A great resource!
As a retired music educator, I enjoy volunteering and filling in for our church's pianist when she is out travelling or out sick. When the choir director calls and says,She will be out this Sunday, can you play?, I can say YES and have a prelude or offertory ready to go with only a couple of read throughs. The arrangements in the What Can I Play series are appropriate for the church year, use traditional chord structures that are easy to practice, based on hymns familiar to my congregation, and the perfect length for a prelude or offertory. So far I have used Book #6 (Thanksgiving & Christmas) and Book #2 (Easter) and because they are such a good price, am considering purchasing the rest of the series.

Old favorites arranged pleasingly
Many old favorite hymns with tunes my again congregation recognize and appreciate. The melodies are set off by non-intrusive, interesting variations and key changes that are easy to master with a little practice. Also simple to make cuts to shorten as needed. Nicely scored. I have her whole series now, plus Funerals, which has many that work on other occasions, too. Quite pleased with my new options for Sundays.
