Solid Arrangements for Broadway Gigs
These West Side Story horn arrangements are spot-on and recognizable for Broadway gig requests. The melodic lines are accurate and well-voiced. While chord symbols aren't explicit for the solo horn (the CD provides harmony), the arrangements are standard. Be aware the CD does play the melody, so a balance control helps for pure backing. Excellent for Intermediate Horn Students

Melodically Sound for Horn

Every piece of music has the most annoying Glokenspiel playing the tune - most accompaniment music has a second version without the tune being played but this does not and the glockenspiel drives you made - don't buy it !!!

Disappointing
Accompaniment is synthesized not real. Solo part is done by a xylophone. The two (''orchestra' and solo) are on different stereo tracks so if your CD player doesn't have a balance control you can't suppress the solo xylophone - which occasionally played notes that not were in the supplied part.Much better are CDs/parts that duplicate each song, first w. solo part as demo and then again w. just accompaniment. And the solo part is actually played by the featured instrument (horn in this case), not a xylophone.An asset is that if you play it on a computer, you can adjust the tempo.
