As the soloist sings "Were you thee when they laid him in the tomb" the choir is answering with "O sacred head now wounded." And in verse four, "Were you there when He rose up from the grave?" the choir answers "Christ the Lord is risen today." This is a great variation on the eternal Easter anthem and something you can direct with great passion. Runs about 4:10.
