“Wednesday” holds a special place in my heart as my first piano composition, crafted when I was just 12 years old. It was composed a year after I embarked on my piano journey. Although I was not yet learning harmony, the chords I employed in this piece were surprisingly sophisticated for my young age. Perhaps it was the influence of my mother, who was an avid classical music enthusiast and would often listen to it alongside me, not too far away. A year later, I moved to Paris and abandonned my studies in piano and music theory. I was drawn to a new passion: computer programming. While I continued to play and improvise on the piano for sheer enjoyment, I lacked proper training or guidance. It wasn’t until almost 35 years later that I decided to resume my studies in music composition. I began sharing my original compositions on my YouTube channel, allowing my music to reach a wider audience. This music, undoubtedly a blend of sadness and melancholy, evokes the emotions one might experience during their youth. I sincerely hope you’ll enjoy it.
